Weekly update

Dear Residents,

Here’s an update from your neighbourhood policing team regarding our activity in the village over recent days.

Our officers have continued to patrol local hotspot areas, including Halsted Park/Halsted Road, The Green, and the Mountsorrel Memorial Centre. We’re pleased to report that no issues were identified during these patrols.

A licensing visit has also been carried out at one of our local establishments following concerns raised by members of the community. Checks were completed and appropriate advice was given.

Earlier this week, we informed you of two reports of anti-social behaviour on consecutive nights at Mountsorrel Memorial Park. Enquiries have been made into both incidents and these remain ongoing.

We are being supported by colleagues from other departments, who are providing a high‑visibility uniformed presence throughout the village as they travel to and from incidents. This extra visibility helps to deter unwanted behaviour and provide reassurance to residents.

In addition to this, the beat team and supporting colleagues continue to carry out visits to residents who have been identified as vulnerable, ensuring they receive the support and safeguarding they need.
